Trees Planted beside the Sage's Tomb

        From:Author: 2022-01-11 15:33

After Confucius passed away, his disciples came to guard his tomb with different kinds of trees brought from their hometowns planted around the tomb. The Kai tree (Pistacia chinensis Bunge) which Zigong brought was planted in the east of the path leading to tombs of Confucius' family. Now, the trunk of this towering tree is still beside the sage's tomb.
